ONGOING PROGRAMS:
EUDUCATION-INVESTING IN HUMAN CAPITAL
AILM is involved with assisting parents to get their children back to school. Our Back to school program provides backpacks and school materials before the start of each semester- equipping school children with the basic materials needed
The James Y. Beyan Memorial Scholarship Fund established in memory of the 1st Father of Year of AILM awards scholarship annually to 3 students at a Lutheran School, in Lofa County, Liberia. The recipients must have a combined average of 85% in Math, Science and History.
COMBATING DOMESTIC HUNGER:
We partnered with the Holy Trinity Lutheran and First English Lutheran Church to feed the less fortunate in the zone 43201 community.
Distribute food to the needy in Communities in and around Columbus
2018-2019 PROJECT: COMMUNITY AND BACKYARD GARDENS
We are making preparations to start our Community and Backyard gardens project
- Build Community and create awareness since community members will provide advice and support
- Vegetables and greens can be grown in communities and our own backyards to help feed ourselves-thus reducing food insecurity and improve dietary intake
